Fall fashion for boys

For me, fall is such a great time because of all of the photography opportunities. The leaves, colors, weather, locations, and outfit ideas! On the other hand, sometimes it can be hard to find the perfect outfit for a session, especially for boys. Hopefully, this blog can give you some inspiration to find that perfect outfit.

Where to begin?

Colors! Seize the opportunity to wear falls colors! It’s the best time to do that. Yellow, orange, red, maroon, dark green, brown! Anything in that range is perfect for a fall shoot.

Another important thing to think about is layers! Layers sometimes get overlooked when, in reality, they can add so much to an outfit.

Vests, jean jackets, coat jackets, or flannels are all great ways to add layers to an outfit. Another option is a sports or club jacket! The button below will allow you to learn more ways to incorporate who you are into your senior photos on September 9th!

Vests! Yay!

Brooks is a fantastic example of how to add layers to an outfit. His vest-button up combo complimented the fall weather perfectly!

If you’re thinking about fall portraits, do not wait to get your session scheduled. There are only 2 spaces left in September and October is filling fast as well. Text me at 217-840-2444 to get more info or click the link below to inquire.

Layers & colors!

Nolan picked a dark green/yellow flannel that added layers & the fall colors to his outfit!

Remember you can never go wrong with a suede or dress boot in the fall as well!

Hopefully, now you have some ideas about how to put together the perfect fall outfit. Colors, layers, & shoes!
