Tips for fall portraits!

Thinking about getting fall pictures taken? Make sure you know the ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of fall photos.

First off, yes, have fun with fall colors! Maroon, dark green, reds, and burnt orange are all great colors to incorporate into your outfit. They always look great with the changing leaves. Also, wear something that makes you feel good! If you feel good in what you’re wearing, the camera will notice!

Another thing to keep in mind is layers! Hats, jackets, scarves, and jewelry are all great ways to add to your outfit. And you can’t forget about patterns. A flannel can never go wrong in fall.

Now we’re gonna talk about the ‘don’ts’ of fall photos.

Avoid neon colors! I know they’re exciting, but they can create funky skin tones which is something we don’t want. So no bright yellow, hot pink, or neon green. Also, try to limit your black and white color choices as well. We love jewelry, but make sure its not so chunky that it draws away from your face. Lastly, if you wanna wear pastels, avoid light pink. It could blend in with your skin tone, and you might end up looking like a thumb.

That’s all the things to avoid… now let’s get back to inspiration!
